Default Need some help w tire sizr options

OK, I havea set of 17x8 niche rims that I have grown fond of, but no longer want or require the 255/45/17 tire that is on it, looking to go bigger, and all terrain at the least i was thinking of a 265/75/17, or 275/65/17 tire, the questions I have are will either of the tires rub? And what would be a decent budget minded tire be in either of these sizes? Thanks in advance any and all suggestions will be taken into consideration. Also the truck in question is a 06 ranger, 3.0, 2wd coil sprung suspension, n I dont mind lifting the truck to clear tires if I have to
