Default What to do about this?? (Cleaning Rims)

ive had this since i bought the truck....nothing seems to work

the rim itself is a little dirty but focus on the streaks.



in this pic if u cant tell its the streaks going to the right in the middle of the pic/rim

you sure thats not clearcoat failure?. Have you tried simle green or purple power? be careful when you use purple power though, its not good for the clearcoat on them

i have no idea what it is , it doesnt appear to be in the rim itself so it could be clear coat issues....where can i get simple green?

u can get simple green at walmart alteast in nj walmarts its there or any boat supply store will have it cuz its used alot on fiberglass

I love simple green, but that looks like clear coat fail!!! Get a good polisher and cleaner, see what it does.

Scotch brite and a can of spray on clear coat lol you are going to have to have them refinished if that is that case. In which case, buy new rims!

well fuck that lol i cant afford new rims

btw a side random question...what is the batterty connector (the piece that hooks onto the terminal itself) made of? looks like brass?

copper! thanks lol i need a small thin film of copper my termianl connector is extremely loose and it could be why the fuse is blowing maybe...if not its still worth fixing since it was half off today...and its already as tight as it can go. damn worn terminals
