Default Leaking valve stem?

Hey everyone,

My tire is leaking. There is a visible tear in the valve stem (the rubber thing where you add air). Not sure if that is the correct terminology, but oh well.

Can a garage replace this without having to buy a new tire?

Anyone know how much?

all they have to do is deflate the tire (probably already done, LOL) and then take it a little off the rim. Pop the old one out, pop the new one in. They did it right infront of me and i wasnt at the shop for 10 minutes.

yeah for sure man. Shouldnt be a big thing unless the shops super busy or something like that. Sucks when something like that happens haha its like nothings really wrong but you need the machine to get the wheel on and off the rim. I wish i had one of those!

best way to check if it is the stem is to spray some soapy water on there and look for bubbles, but since its torn already and its only gonna be like $10 to fix you might aswell go ahead and fix it
