So I currently have 33x12.50 tires on my 93 Ranger, and I am going to downsize to 31x10.50 most likely. Am I going to need to get new wheels also or will 31x10.50's work on my original wheels?

Depends on the width of your wheels too. You wouldn't want to put 10.5" wide tires on a 10" wide rim.

I'm downgrading because I need new tires anyway because the rear tires are bald from the kid who had them before me and they are just a little too big and fat for me. I only go off road when I'm hunting so I don't need big ol' muddin' tires anyway.
