So far I am loving this site. Great people, amazing trucks.

I currently do not know very much about lifting/lowering or wheels/tires...

I would like to learn as much as possible.

My truck has a "Hidden Hitch" installed, I realised that this will make a body lift not work, correct? Also, how will that affect a DJM 2/3 0r 4/5 kit?

And what are some nice 20" Rims and tires? I was looking at FR500 20x10

Hidden hitch works perfect for a Lowered truck. JDM is the way to go for a drop. And if you are putting 20s on alot of mustang Rims look great on slammed rangers. Just make sure they follow the 4x4.5 lug spacing. Check out Bwads and Caspers and dcrymes rangers. They are a couple lowered guys on here. PM them and ask a couple questions on how to do it. Because I dont know much about Lowering trucks.

I am a tire guy, all I do is tires all day (its not as much fun as it sounds). If you drop your truck you will get better fuel mileage and slightly better power. But I wouldn't suggest putting 20" rims on your truck. One it looks kind of weird, and two you will get a much rougher ride out of it. If you want t go a little bigger with the rim I wouldn't go much bigger than an 18" rim. One thing you have to remember to is the bigger rim you go, the more the tires are going to cost you. Even though they my all be roughly the same hight, that dose not matter. I have 235/75R15 Hercules Tara Trac AT and I paid $175 a tire. Hercules is a cheaper tire, but for me to go to a 16in tire it was going to be and extra $40 a tire, and the prices just go up from there. If you don't want to spent to much on tires, I wouldn't suggest going much bigger than stock. And every year all tires go up about $10 a year
