Default Yokohama Geolandar A/Ts

mine are 33x12.5r15, if it matters. I got a friend discount from a buddy of mine, and then another friend of mine got me in contact with his little bro who put them on in his auto class for $free.99. All said and done, I was down $600 for these.

Stepping up to these from my old 32x11.5r15 BFG Mud Terrain KM1's was a HUGE improvement. traction on dry asphalt is way better. In the rain, I haven't even been able to break them loose yet, something I tried to do when I had my truck on private property in a safe environment. Compared to my old mud terrains there is a HUGE improvement in every aspect of driving on the road. Minimal noise, tons of grip, and they're wearing really well both on my truck and my friend's who hooked me up with them.

In the dirt they also hook up really well too. I try to stay out of the mud as much as possible, but in the lose stuff, rocks, and sand of the SoCal deserts I have 0 complaints. Instead of pitching the truck into a corner and sliding, I can keep my speed with much more control and loads more traction. I got into some tight, slow rocky sections that chewed up my mud terrains and chunked them a bit, but these Yokohamas have 0 signs of wear except for the dirt on them.

Here are some pics:

yeah they're gonna be good for a loooooong time. my buddy i got them through has taken his f150 to baja for the baja 500 and 1000 for the past 3 years to chase for different teams, and he claims they're better than his old bfg's down there. and they did well in the snow when he and i did a rally from LA to Tahoe in February

I just bought the same tires in 32's and got them mounted up last week. Ordered them from tire rack and they came very very fast!

I was in the same boat. I had bfg mt's and hated them. Lots of noise, rode terrible, not alot of grip. These tires are amazing. They are sooooooo quiet and ride soooo smooth. I love them. I myself am very very happy with them so far.

I'm glad you posted this because I was trying to decide on tires and between the reviews here and online it helped me make the decision to get these tires. I didn't want to break the bank on BFG's...lol

I had them on my Dodge and loved them! They did great in the snow too (better then my snow tires that I have on my Chevy, lol) Considering either them or a set of Cooper ST's for new summer tires on the Chevy. Both are the same price, just not sure which to choose, lol.

to be honest i've never run the bfg a/ts. but i've heard debates to the end of time on whether they're good or not. i do know that as they wear down more they will start to chunk.
