Default how much size will i lose?

So i have 33's on my ranger now but my dad is just killing me with all this i just think one size smaller blah blah blah, i say 32 is the smallest i even told him that i would buy the 32's to satisfy him. Being that im only 16 i do have to obey but how mucch of a difference could i really tell in height from 33 to 32?

you will lose 1/2 an inch if you get the same tire as you have now, seeing as every tire height is different, but you only lose half an inch on height. you will gain some performance and see an mpg increase. i say do it.

as far as a mud terrain, look towards the bfg km2, or the hanook dynapro, there are lots of good tires, depends on what type of wheeling you do, and your budget.

hes freaking about the gearing? and gas milage....i filled up last friday and just now am below a half of tank i drive to school and back and to track and back everyday and church this mornig and extras. he simply is scared because he had the 350's in his chevy with his 33's but now that hes a ford man and he loves his 4.0 he doesnt want it gettin hurt? he personally wants 31's i say he can just by a little 2.3 and lower it!

hahaha yeah, to each his own, as far as the tires, it will look funky with anything smaller than the 32s, but the 4.10 gearing is fine for the 33s.

yeah if ya got 4.10's youre good. But i can see where gas is killer. Im getting about 14 now if i drive how i wanna and im about to BL and add 33's so ill probably be f'ed cause i kinda have a hard time with gas now. But if i get a job for summer in my tourist driven town ill be fine. The winter is what does it. Just tell him its gunna look super weird if you dont get at leasssst 32's.
