Default forced to get new tires.....

I'm tired of these tires. there POS Prime Well PA100. There noisy, rough ride, side walls appear to be made of bologna, lose pressure whenever they deal with a pothole or a small ditch just anything other than smooth paved road, horrible in the rain, alright in deep snow but horrible in anything else snowy.
It's just i hate them and they will probably go in an inconvenient/dangerous time and screw me over. Just last night my one tire went from 35psi to 15 psi in the mater of 2 hours, i filled it up and now it's fine.

So my choice is either an A/T tire or a highway all season.

How much of a difference would gas mileage/comfort/noise be between BFG T/A KO and General Grabber HTS?

Also a POLL! If you were in my shoes (drive 200 miles weekly for work, occasional light off roading, live in Buffalo NY so shyty weather) which would you choose and why?

Do you offroad? Do you plan to keep the tires during winter?

Need more input man!

I'm not one to suggest TA K/O personally, they sure look good, but there's no thread to evacuate liquids, that's a reciepe for disaster imo. Plus they cost a lot.

BFG's FTW! great mileage out of them, great all around traction. I have bought 3 sets of these tires for all my trucks, 32's for the ranger, 235's for plow rig and 265's for the expediton. I will never buy another tire.

----------

I have ran other tires. Good year wrangler radials, liberator AT's, Copper STT's. BFG out performs them all in 'all around' the STT are better in mud, but they should be.

current tire, looks meaty and looks like it will perform but it's just horrible. Dealer threw them on cus the old BFGs that were on it were worn.

Why limit yourself to just 2 choices when they are blah just like everyone else's what's popular I think they look neat that's what everyone runs.......BS?
Buy one of the best highway/all season tires made.

Rated superior in 11 out of 12 categories.
Excellent rating in the 12th category.
Ratings from almost 1.4 million miles reported.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

The BFG's you guys are in love with have poor ratings for fuel mileage/economy.
One example;
http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire-...n-t-a-ko-tires

Just because they look neat and are popular does not mean that they serve everyone's needs well.
There are better tires available for highway driving which is primarily what the OP is doing.

these tires are run on my dads tahoe....when i drive his tahoe i hate those tires but my dad loves them but he stays strictly on road and tows a few times a year.

but on dirt in the tahoe..idk about the ranger...they lose traction pretty easy and slide but as it has been said before...mostly hwy driving

I bet most people running the BFG are running a bigger than stock size tire that effects fuel mileage. Im running 235 BFG and I can attest that they do not effect fuel mileage.

But, you need to compare apples to apples. The BFG is an apple the LTX is an orange

----------

I also think that most guys do not buy the BFG for fuel mileage
