Default i have a 02 ranger and trying to fit 09 mustang 17" know what I need just need some a

Well i have a little prob I bought 09 mustang rims (17 inch). Didn't know at the time but back ones fit great, but they need a spacer for them to fit up front or i can grind out the center. What size should i get? And do you lose a lot of the wheel strength when you use those. My dad can machine them but i don't want to lose the integrity of the rim. I thought they would bolt right on my brother had a 88 ranger and bolted on my 99 mustang v6 rims with no probs. I Put them back on crags-list before i found i can get a spacer and i got a bunch of calls on them for 200 more them i paid for them. They have two brand new tires and two used but its really hard to tell the difference apart, the only way i was about to tell them apart was the used ones was missing a couple more little rubber strings that come on a new tire. Please help and let me know what I should do thanks for your help i really appreciate it
I have a 02 2.4 liter 4 cylinder 2wd. I have a custom paint job inside and out all accent pieces painted to match, billet grill. rear bumper delete kit. I also have racing seats a racing seat belt . I had 18 inch chrome rims but i getting rid of those one was bent and the other had two small cracks for the mustang 17 rims. My trucks been lowered, had a cold air intake, and a magnaflow muffler that comes out to two custom pipes on either side.

I've recently ran into the same problem got all excited when I got the rims caught a bangin deal on them only to find the front need the spacers. I actually posted a thread about fitting them on and one of the other members was telling me a 1.25" spacer gives it the clearance it needs for the hub AND no rubbing anywhere. I looked on ebay and found the cheapest ones were around $60 shipped which isn't too bad. I guess it comes down to what you want to do personally. You could resell em and make a profit and try to find a set of rims again to put on your truck and make a couple extra bucks or just order the spacers from ebay and keep the ones you have. If they have good tires I'd say hold onto them might not catch a deal on rims with such good tires on them. Anyway hope that helps ya out some.
