The good rims are 6 1/4''. The bad rim is 7''. So I need a 3/4 spacer and was wondering if one of the products on the sites are good to get.

That's a pretty big difference. Will you have enough grip length left on the lugs with a spacer the big?

You might have to go with a spacer with lugs in it and trim the ones on your drum down to be able to use a spacer. I'm thinking a spacer with cut out to use old style lug nuts that would sit in the spacer below the mating surface so the rim can sit flush on the face of the spacer.

You might be better off seeing if you can swap the rim with one that has the correct back spacing instead at where ever you got the rim.

I have no clue what I'm going to do because I really need this done. I can try and get a 3/4 spacer but this one guy at the shop said to do the adapter as well with the lugs. So if you or someone can find me one that's inexpensive, I surely appreciate it. Otherwise the guy from the shop is going to call me on Tuesday and let me know the prices and what not. Might just go to the pros then

That might be your best bet in this case, just don't do it half assed which ever way you go.

Here ya go

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ALLST...Q5fAccessories

----------

You might just need a new wheel...just realized your backspacing is bigger on the bad rim...so that means you need three 3/4" spacers to match the 7" backspacing

You got that backwards my friend. My three good rims back spacing's are 6 1/4''. The bad rim has a backspacing of 7''. So I need either a 3/4'' spacer or adapter to bring down that 7'' backspace to 6 1/4'' to equal with the rest of the rims

----------

And for that link, that one just might do. But what the people at that shop told me to get, was this adapter that includes on it a new studs that I would use to bolt on the lugs. So I don't know if I should get that or the one on the link?

----------

And also, with that type of spacer, I might not have enough thread from the bolt going through the hole which means it won't be able to tighten all the way. I need at least 5 full threads to have a nice tight wheel

Lol well, they are 1/2-20 studs, I beleive 1.5" long....that means you should have 30 threads in the whole stud, Half of that (3/4") Should give you 15 threads....You should have plenty of threads... And for $20 or w/e the cost is on that, I think it would be worth a shot

That is true. There trying to sell me an adapter that starts off in price around 100 bucks without tax. So something like what I said to them, they said it would have to be custom made so I'm looking at more than 100! So, I'm thinking that spacer you showed me should work and it's worth a shot, your right. Thank you good sir!
