31x10.5 50R15 issues
I bought my first Ranger a few weeks ago, I have had to fix a few minor things, but it's getting there. The truck came with almost brand new American Prospector 31x10.5 50R15 tires on it, and while it looks really good, I have made a list if the negative aspects of these tires. A friend made the observation that it may be because American Prospector is a cheap brand. I am thinking about going to the stock tire, or maybe to something in between, like a P235 75R15, any thoughts?
1.) The ride seems more rough than it should be, or maybe would be with the stock tires ( P225 70R15 )
2.) The truck seems slow from a dead stop, not sure if stock tires would change this or not.
3.) The speedometer is off by alot, when it reads 65, you are going 73.
4.) The tires are noisy as heck, have to crank the radio to drown them out.
