No
1- they look weird, almost cheaper
2- i don't know about you guys over there, but screwing in your tires is illegal here, it would attract too much unwanted attention, and an excuse for the cops to look for other stuff.

I like the ledge. All are not bad options though

By screwing in your tires do you mean studding your tires? I have never heard of beadlocks being illegal. That would be crazy if they were.

Illegal here, just as the armored and runflats. The main reason is that they all counter the effects of a spike strip.

false lol beadlocks only help offroad to crawl over things with 3 to 5 psi and not have the tire slide off the bead. in no way will it stop a spike strip. u canadians with ur wrong facts amuze me.

So you say a tire that is bolted on a rim could still be driveable at 3-5 psi, and hell, even stay on at 0psi? Isn't that what spike strips are supposed to do, deflate the tire so it either shreds or dismount?
I guess that's a good reason why they are illegal in quebec. At least, that's what the guy at the garage told me, and he stood to make good money by selling them.

Re: Which of these would look best?
no they can not run at 3 to 5 psi with bead locks after hit by a spike strip for the reason u can not drive over a certain slow speed with out the tire belts morphing and breaking and the tire will shread if hit my a spike strip bro and run flats only get u certain few miles before u can't drive on them anymore anyways. bead locks are used for offroading and show. as well as try steering a vehicle going 55 mph and running 3 to 5 psi it's impossible unless on sand or offroad. oh and by the way these rims up there ^ are fake bead locks lol for those of u who don't know. they are like pat the mods mickey thompson bead locks fake but look damn good
----------
if u use common sense u should know any tire at 3 to 5 psi will shread for the reason they are not made to go fast and on pavement at those low psi's.

for starters, the pics of the wheels above are not true bead locks. so there is no screwing into the tires with those. real bead locks are illegal to have on the highway, but that's due to having holes in your tires.
a spike strip is not designed to shred a tire. it is designed to let the air out. people running tires at low PSI will damage the side wall, causing a failure of the tire. having or not having a bead lock will not keep the tire from shredding. once the side wall has been driven on (low PSI), the tire will come apart regardless.

exactly as well as the rim at low psi will be driving on the inside of the tires side wall which is the weakest point on a tire and will there for shread the tire from driving right through the sidewall.
----------
its like saying low pro tires should be illegal for the reason if popped the sidewalls are so small and strong u can drive on them. a spike strip hitting low pros is truely pointless there for they should be illegal but alas they are not.
