Default for those of you looking for a killer deal on new tires

i have been shopping around for new tires for my truck in the 33x12.5x15 size, i had some picked out the bfg all terrain, its been a favorite of mine for years. well the best price i found was 636 plus shipping for 4, it came out to like $701 out the door. that was from tire rack, but discount tire rack has free shipping, they were wanting 800 out the door thats 100 bucks more but they have a 50 dollar mail in rebate, so in the long run its only 50 more, i called them about their price match, and got the guy to get me to 640 out the door plus the 50 dollar mail in rebate. if your lookin for a good deal on tires search around and get the pricing then call up discount tires direct. im saving over 100 bucks just by doing a bit of research.

That's the way to go.

When I bought my tires I just pulled up the 20 closest discount tires, called each one (went to a few in person as well), asked to speak to the manage, attempted to negotiate a price match. Oddly enough out of all the stores that I talked to no two stores gave me the same price. So if anyone has trouble getting a price match I would definitely call around.

yeah next step is when i get cash in hand im gonna talk to the local shops and see if they can come close, seeing as its still gonna cost me 50+ to have them installed, might as well see if i can get something below 700 local.

yes thats what i said. now keep in mind that nothing is free, if they have free shipping it usually means they tacked the price on somewhere else like handling fees, or the tire price.

thats not bad at all! seeing as an allignment is close to 100 bucks, meaning the tires only cost you 550 for mount and balance, not too shabby, i think online for that size they are like 500ish after shipping, so with mount and balance thats a good deal.
