for the 400 i paid for them, they weren't a bad tire. useless on a 2wd, but still. I got them with 99% tread on them, and they lasted 30k miles. terrible traction in the rain, i could break the back loose or understeer if i wasn't careful. they sucked on the ice and residual snow after a plow too, i ended up in a snow bank once, and stuck in a parking spot multiple times. they also SUCKED in sand. pismo trips were dreaded unless i aired down to 5 psi and stayed on hard pack. the more they wore out, the louder they got. my gas mileage also sucked due to the aggressive tread pattern.

600 out the door, had a buddy install them in his shop class for free. GREAT so far, nice and quiet on the street, great in the snow and the rain. mine have flat spotted a little bit when i let the truck sit 24hrs or more, but i don't mind at all.

Also went with the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS. Just over $785 for set of four.
Including mount and balance and damage replacement certificates.
Have had them for 5 days now. Handles good. No real noticeable tire noise. Not
much worse than last set of tires. Radio covers any minor noise!
No rain/snow to check with. Maybe in the morning. No chance to get up into the
hills and do some 2WD off roading. So, not sure how they handle there yet.
Overall, I'm happy with my choice.
