did you shop around? if you go to tire rack and find their price then call discount tire they will beat their price, and bfg has a 50 dollar mail in rebate.

I LOVE my Mud Trac radials. They're proving to be some really slow wearing tires. At this rate they're going to outlast my old Wild Countrys by almost double the life, plus they're so much cheaper than what everyone here is paying for tires. Great in the mud and snow too. I don't think they're loud on the road either but some might disagree. My buddy that has worked for a tire warehouse for over 5 years said that he hasn't seen any mud tires last quite the way these are, and I agree. I'll be buying another set for sure!

I think I paid around $130 per tire but I'd have to dig the receipt out of the truck.. I "think" they're manufactured by National..

Nice thread, I am lookin for new tires and this has been an interesting read....put on used 265/75/R16 Cooper Discoverer AT's last summer...riding rough as hell but they were used so I'm not judging them by any means....I'm thinkin bout goin back to the stock size (245/75/R16) to possibly get a smoother ride. I'm sure brand new tires of either size would give a smoother ride....anyways good stuff.

Anybody have an opinion on the Firestone Destination AT's or the Bridegestone Dueler AT Revo 2?

Ahhh screw it, I went with the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS's....

There pretty sexy, I'll let ya know how they ride. Hopefully I'll get them by Thursday and get them on for the weekend so I can try them out in this messy ass spring thaw down in the river bottom!!

By the way:

Went back to the stock size - 245/75/R16

They cost $572 total on discount tire direct and I got $100 in rebates so $472 - not a bad deal if they turn out to be deece tires...

Even though you already decided, the Destination ATs I have have been great so far. Very quiet for an AT, the traction is good, and they handle well.
