Buying some new shoes for the truck...
Hey guys, I'm going to be buying some new tires for my truck and am wondering about size...
I don't offroad, but do some mountain snow driving on roads, other than that, just city/highway driving...this truck's my daily driver.
I found a good deal on some used 235/75r15 BFG AT KOs, but I could probably spring a bit more cash and buy some new General Grabber AT2s in either 30x9.50 or 235/75r15.
My questions are:
1. With a 2wd 4cyl 2.5L manual with 3.73 gears, is running a 30x9.50 going to put too much load on the engine and axle?
2. Will a 30x9.50 fit under the truck in the spare tire well?
3. Which tires are better in the snow?
Thanks guys!
