Default Nice Little calculator i found

this will help you find the same size tire you need if you go to a bigger rim and want to keep the same diameter tire, will also help you figure out if your getting bigger tires how much your speedo will be off (roughly)

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for that link! I put down my stock 15's compared to my summer 20's and found out I'm going 0.05% too slow. So if I was doing 60, I be actually doing 60.3 . Great find!

I've used that app/link numerous times. It's an invaluable tool!

Good info there BUT, I am trying to calculate the difference between my '01 Ranger size of 245/75R16 and the new truck's size, which is 31x10.5/15. My tire shop says these have the same diameter of 31.5 inches. Therefore my speedo should be accurate.

Any thoughts on this?

And I will throw this in just for fun. My '05 FX4 Level II with the 31x10.5/15's reads 74 on the speedo and 70 on the GPS. Can anyone explain that?

Your computer isn't adjusted for the new tire size. If you have a tuner you can tell it what size tire you have and it will change the spedo readout
