Default anyone know how

a 235 tire will look on an 8 inch rim? right now i have goodyear 235/75 15 on my stock 15x6 rim, and i like the way it looks with the tire bulging out over the side a little bit. im looking into some rims for it, and im currently looking at cragar soft 8 397s. i either wanna go 15x7 or 15x8 but i dont wanna get new tires since i just got em a couple hundred miles ago. i know the tire will still look ok on a 15x7, but anyone know how it will look on an 8 inch wide rim? will it still bulge out over the side? or will it need to be stretched a bit or will it sit flush with the rim?

It may work, I was always told it was better to have them pulled in than out, but I never really researched it. I would try calling the tire shop where you bought them and ask the same question with the specifics on what tire you have

here are Goodyear's 235/70/15 on 7" wheel... on 8" it will be close, it will not bulge, but all brands are different widths.... I recommend 245-295 on 8" wheel
