Default Recommended tire pressure

I just got a set of bfg all terrains today, and they set my rear tires at 45 lbs and my front at 40 lbs but ford only calls for 32 lbs. They are the factory size 245/75R16 tires. I like the feel of the higher poundage, but I don't want my tires to wear wrong, thank you in advance for the feedback

Go by the tire specs themselves

Tires specify the MAXIMUM tire pressure that they can handle. Many are over 40 to 50 psi.

Personally, I like my tire pressure for my FX4 at about 33-35 psi at 0 deg C (driver's side door jamb says 30 psi)...primarily to allow the variable temperature differences experienced at my locale....down to minus 35 to minus 40 deg C. The BFG AT on my Mazda 4x2 was at 38 psi (door label 35 psi).
