My truck came with BFG AT's from the factory. Now I bought my truck in '07, it's an '03, and it had about 39,000 miles on it when I got it. And it was still the original tires, and they still had about 75% tread left. I liked them but I wanted to go with something meatier so I stepped up to the mud terrains. the only complaint about the BFG's is that they really like to pick up rocks and throw them into my rocker panels.

And I wouldn't buy from tire rack, you only seem like you're getting a deal until you go to pay and they whack you for shipping. From my experiences, you're better off going to a tire shop and getting them there. The majority of the time, if you buy the tires there, they'll throw in the mounting and balancing for free.

honestly the bfg at is a great tire, i think its weakest point is mud, but its an amazing tire, i only got like 40k on mine, but i didnt rotate them as much as i should have and i had them on a lifted TTB set up so the suspension is different and has different wear characteristics... but its a great tire, if your not gonna take it out much i say get the long trail, it will help with mileage, and will last longer.

dam they last a long time then lol i have my p235's and when i had them for only a year they had weather cracks already. I was pissed about that. And if they throw rocks i'm fine with that lol especially for the tail gaiters

x2 on throwing rocks, you'll hear rocks coming out till about 45mph. 20k on mine and I still got the little knobbies on the tire. Not real loud at highway speeds either. I'm happy with them!

this is no lie, running my 32's at 28 psi in the front and 25 in the back I got over 80k miles and they still had a measurable 1/8" of tread. The reason for running the low pressure is so that the tire wears even across. I see alot of people that are bald in the center and 1/2" on the outsides casue there tires were over-inflated.

yea i've seen that happen also my my buddys A'T. He has them at 50psi with way negative camber and being as hot as it gets here the tire gets even more psi then he thinks.

my BFG AT's had 45,000 on them when i got rid of them and had about 1/4 tread left, they are a great wearing tire and a great tire all around. also since you mention the long trails i put a set of those on my wifes blazer and they have nearly 40,000 on them now and they still look new and have also been a great tire. they are not an offroad tire by any means but they rock in the snow and rain and they ride nice.

lol another positive on the A'Ts lol and the long trail i bet are a good tire like you say. But those BFG's are just all + nothing - about them so far. I have pretty much made up my mind. I don't off-road much but if i do i bet i would feel a lot more confident in those then the tires i have now lol. It will look good also. Look what i found over on RF.

this just sold me guys hahahaha!! i am deff getting these. BFG AT FTW!! 31x10.50 on a 15x8 rim and white walls also

I've had the same set of bfg a/t's on three different trucks...not sure how many miles but to be honest you don't even need the 4wd in the snow with them. The only negative is when they start to wear down you start hearing road noise.
