Re: 89 Ranger tire and wheel question?
15x8 would be fine, hell a 15x7 would be good too. I originally had 31"x10.5" on my 15x7 Alcoa's. Then when I bumped up to a 32"x11.5", I got a 15"x8" wheel
I had 31's on my '88 BII with just a 2" lift block in the rear and those stupid turn in coil spring boosters. So youre ranger with a 3" body lift should have no problem fitting 31's.
Do you remember Vern's old truck? the white and blue '89 ranger. He had a 3"-4" suspension lift on his with 32"x11.5" tires and at full lock his tires rubbed the radius arms. I think it was just due to backspacing of the wheels he had on it.
