Smile What size do I need

I have an 86 ranger xlt extended cab and I want to put different wheels and tires on it but I have a problem. I have a set of American Racing wheels 15x8 for the tires . I was told 205/75/15 would be ok to use or 235s as well. I went to local Wal Mart store and they said the 205s would not fit and the 235s would rub. I dont know. So being new to Rangers what size should I use? I want to keep the truck stock and I am not interested in shaving wheel well etc. The local Wally World guy told me this I never saw the tires mounted. He said he could not get the 205 installed. He did mount a 235 tire with Jeep type tread. It looked huge . I just need a little direction on which way to go with this . Smaller ? What size? Sell the wheels and be happy with the 14s or just what . Any insight appreciated.

my truck came with 235/70/15 they'll be fine.. 205 is to skinny for 8" wheel, it will look goofy..
here are the 235/70/15 on 7" wheel (2wd)

for great deal on tires click here .... free shipping

I was told that I needed 7" wide wheels instead of the 8" I have for any chance of having tires work. I will have a bigger selection to work with. Will they fit these 8" wheels? Comments?
