Default P71 Wheels

I'm trying to make my car a little more "Cop" for the security company.

Is it possible that wheels off a P71 or similar cop car fit?? and can I still run decent truck tires on them?

so your talking about taking crown vic wheels off and placing them on your ranger... why not just buy some cragar soft 8's if your looking for the holey look..

Believe it or not, stock 16" spare Ranger wheels are the same exact wheel found on 98-02 Crown Vics w/ wheel covers and/or P71's....

Old thread but here's what I know about these wheels.

28 lbs each. Steel of course and 7.5 inches wide. 17 inch version of course.

I have a set of these on my Mustang and they needed to be modified so the backspacing fit there. (not sure on the Ranger). Bolt pattern fit perfectly, and on the Mustang was the perfect hub size too. I since upgraded to Cobra brakes and there was BARELY enough clearance for the calipers, but the Ranger will probably be ok. (the back of the wheel and the face of the caliper have about 3mm of room. VERY close but it all clears)

I love the wheels. They look great IMO and it's just different.

The rear wheels are also P71 wheels, but I had them widened to 9 inches.

Correction, those are not ranger wheels, the rangers either have spokes, teardrops or turbine pattern....they never came with round holes like the P71...
