Default Center Bore Diameter?

Whats the correct/acceptable size of center bore diameter for a Ranger?

stock is 4.5 inches

So a rim with the center bore of 80.77mm would be too big?

Yep. Not a good idea to let the lugs do all the work. The wheels are designed to center on the hub so you don't get any wobble from an off centered wheel and it takes most of the side load off the lugs as well.

well i mean really all center bore is is the size of the hole in the center so it would still be centered but just larger so it would be closer to the lug holes

No, wheels are designed to be hub-centric, meaning it should fit exactly. The lugs aren't designed to take the stress of a non-hubcentric wheel. If they arent touching, the wheel is pretty much impossible to be centred.

Oh, you can center then if you really want to. I know a couple people who did. They issues with their lug breaking and such though and finally saw the light.
