I Second hankook! (I work at a tire shop lol)
The RW-11's are awesome. NEVER have I had studs that were this quiet. I'm running them on the back only and I siped my toyo at's on the front. Thing grips like no other. Reason for only two is we have very mild winters but I drive a curby road that occasionally has random ice patches so all I really wanted was to stop the back end from washing out.
If you don't get ice real bad or studs aren't legal(still legal in oregon for now)
I would HIGHLY recommend the wild country xtx. Its a snow/ice rated all terrain and has a lot more siping than 90% of the tires out there. Once I lift my truck I am running these for sure. Dean(maker of the wild countries) makes some seriously good tires and they've been around FOREVER haha.
Mt's.....if you ONLY get snow. On ice they are about as useless as a poopy flavored lollipop. Lol.
I saw you said you have 255/70's stock. 245/75's might be alittle better route for the snow. People around here have crammed 235/85's but they're 10 ply only.
Anywhoo I'm ramblin haha. Hope ya find something! And drive safe
