Default 1998 ford ranger 2wd supercab 4 door!

this is my first vehicle i love it!

my question is, how big of tires can i put on it stock? i belive the bolt pattern in 14x6, and the rims are 14in? correct me if wrong?

im looking for some bigger, more agressive tires.
like the bfg all terrains..

SO I DONT HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER THREAD

would you reccomed buying lifts kits from ebay? im looking at 3in lifts..
how big of tires could i fit with a lift.

thanks for your time!!!!

Bolt pattern is 5x4.5. 14x6 would be the wheel size. I would suggest getting some 15x8 wheels. With stock suspension you can get 30s on there.

ok thanks! would it look stupid with a 3in lift and 29s? i dont want to trim any fenders etc..

i would prolly buy the wheels/tires first, so they would need to fit stock. then buy the lift

If you get a 3" lift, I would go at least 31s.

That pic has some sort of american racing wheel IIRC. Look to be BFG M/t tires. Look to be 31x10.5 on some 15x8s

That's about as big as they come unless you do custom stuff....
If you want more than 3" you should look into suspension lifts.

Well I'm not sure just how much lower a 2wd is than a 4wd. I have the stock Wranglers on my 4x4 and the diameter is about 30.5". Actually my tires are probably closer to 30" now since there's not too much tread left. So a 2wd truck lifted to 4x4 height or a little higher would look fine with 30's in my opinion, but 31's would still look a bit better with a lift.

Yea 30s would be fine. You would be a little higher than a stock 4x4. They will look a little on the small side. I ran a 3" lift on my coil 2wd and ran 32s.
