Grabbed some 05-07 dodge magnum/charger/300 wheels from the yard. Mounted up some 31's.

goes full lock to full lock with absolutely no rubbing. Studs lines up perfect, no bending/misalignment.

^^^ those wheels do not have the correct bolt pattern. They may appear to bolt up correctly because there is only a .7mm difference in the bolt circle. 5x114.3(ranger) vs. 5x115(dodge). They will look identical without precise measuring tools. Others should be aware of this before making a decision. Maybe there is not enough difference to matter? I think any other bolt pattern is the wrong bolt pattern.

Alright...so here's the deal. I'm not sure if you (or who else for that matter) can actually visualize how thick a thou or 0.001" is. I've got enough time with mech design and lathe/mill time to know....anyway...i digress....your average sheet of paper has a thickness of 0.1mm So if you can do math, that means the the difference split across two studs is ~3.5 sheets of paper thick. You were talking about bending studs and all this other jibber jabber which quite frankly is ridiculous. There's more space in the thread depth than there is a difference in the bolt pattern. The only thing that you really need to be worried about is the center bore. That way the rims says centered and the weight isn't being applied to the lugs. The amount of play found on my stock rims vs these is identical. Also i grabbed our machine caliper and measured the hole size, then total distance outside to outside on the holes. Do some math and you get the pattern....which crazy enough came out to ~114.5.

TLDR:

YES they aren't the "correct" pattern.
YES i put them on anyway because lots of guys in the jeep community have been doing this for years
and so far
YES they work

use your own judgement on it but everything that I've found says its a go

So im looking at getting these wheels off of a cobra. The add is the link below. The guy says they will fit my truck, and i know they have the right bolt pattern, but will they fit??? I know what the offset is, but how will it look? My truck is a 2004 4x4 with a torsion key leveling kit. The tires i am going to use are 255/75r17

Conical seat lugnuts, the great equalizer. Dodge wheels are 5 on 4.25 or 5x 115, ford is 5 on 4.25 or 5x114.3 I think its just a case of dodge rounded up. My wheels were originally for a jeep wrangler and fit fine.

Rangers are 5x4.5 (114.3)

115 does not equal 4.25. Your numbers are skewed

Default rims that fit on a ranger

Think it's 4.5

----------

And btw ppl run 115 on a 114.3, but I wouldn't. Stresses lugs and rim

This. I think it's just ill advised. Even if it "works."

I would say it's the most common 5 lug pattern.

Has anyone stuffed a 18x10 with the correct offset on the rear of the 93? I am going for another handling characteristic which if possible would lend to 315/30/18 tires on my 4.0L
