does anyone have the Wrangler radials on their ranger?
I think the wrangler radials are going for 75$ at walmart. I cant afford the tires i really want. But anyways, I currently have liberators(another walmart tire) on my ranger 235/75/15s. I was wondering how the wranglers look?

These are the Goodyear Wrangler RT/S in a 265/70R15 that I had on my truck when I got it. They weren't awesome, but they weren't bad either. Good on road, decent off road, gummed up in the mud. Keep em spinning and you can pull through most things. If these are what you are talking about. It would help if you had a sig with your info. Judging by the fact you have 235's I'm guessing 4wd

Re: does anyone have the Wrangler radials on their ranger?
Those tires are absolute JUNK. DO NOT BUY THEM.
My dad had bought a set for his F-150 about 7 years ago, good tires. These are just the plain jane Good Year Wrangler Radial.
When those wore out he bought another set, because the price was good and they wore great.
Problem is, they changed the tread design. The old was all blocky type. The new, same tread block pattern but now they are connected. So NO vertical groves anywhere.
He bought them, he bitched an complained until he bought some American Prospectors which by the way werent the greatest either.
These tires hydroplaned on 1/16" of water!
This is what walmart has now. Notice the connected pattern.

This was the old and good tire, notice the vertical grooves.

Re: does anyone have the Wrangler radials on their ranger?
its like when you buy brake pads at a discount auto parts store. You're just buying them so you can sell the car and say it has brand new brakes.
Same principle here, these are the tires you buy when your looking to just sell your truck and say you have brand new tires.

Re: does anyone have the Wrangler radials on their ranger?
What about the liberaters? I think that is how you spell it. They are a Wal mart tire as well. It's for a 2wd truck, 2002. I understand good tires are over a 100 a piece but my tires have almost 50k on them. I'm a broke college student that doesn't Want my trucking looking like a parts store truck. So i don't know what to get.
