Thanks guys
I wanted to buy those tires at first, tirerack had them for so cheap. But the cost to ship made them as expensive as the local shops.

They look like they can evacuate water better than the T/A KO, that's for sure.

I forget if they are winter rated, seems like only my province thinks that is important..

I've always been a fan of the BFG AT's. My dad just put a set of 235's on his 2wd. The verdict is in: He likes em.

Said they were the best gripping, non-hydroplaining tire he has ever had.

It was like a monsoon in GR tonite, he was very happy with them as I knew he would be.

Get the BFG AT's...!

I get that everyone has preferences, those are good looking tires.

The thread design was a big deterrent for me; water has nowhere to go but fill the middle.

I don't have to worry about Winter times here because, we don't have any haha. I live in Phoenix, AZ... I've had the BFG AT's, I just want to try something new and less aggressive. I really like the Bridgestones you showed me. I'm not going to buy anything until I get my Christmas bonus so I still have a while to make up my mind. I AM loving all the suggestions though guys, keep them coming.

My .02 on the mater is as follows.

~ahem~
Duratracs.

Ive put just under 18k on em so far, and I cant really tell they've worn any. Tread is still real deep, and moreover, these are incredible in water and mud. Just me bumping my new favorite tire

I think they are a decent tire. If they are in your budget get them from a reputable store like Discount Tire. If they do wear bad they will warranty them or heavily discount your next set.

Look at NEXEN Roadian A/T II's.

My dad has them on his 2500HD Silvy and they are great tires. They seem to do good off and on road.

They are also good in the rain. They have good grip even in the down pours that we get here. I live in Central FLA, T-storm capital of the world. So, iv'e had some rain experience with them.

They are fairly cheap too. (cheap being a relative term)

I have a set of General Grabber AT2 on my 4x2 Excursion. They will go anywhere I want them to.

I considered buying the khumos, ony didnt cause the bfgs from the shop I was buying from only charged 12$ more per tire for the bfg's. I know what your getting at with the whole "offroad street tire cause thats what I was looking for too. I read a lot of good reviews on the khumos and the only reason I ordered the bfgs was the not to rediculous price difference from my shop. Hey how are bfg ats in the rain? The shityears I have know spinnout all the time, even when I go really slow, which is one reason why im upgrading.
