Question dynabeads

pros and cons compared to wheel weights? is it cheaper than getting wheels balanced at a shop with weights? or more expensive. how do you put them inside the tire and how do you install the air valve? but most importantly do they work?
thanks
-Luc

usually they are about the same as balancing, on anything smaller than an 11x22.5 the do not work so dont waste your money because you will end up with vibrations, and to install you either break the tire down and throw inside or you have an attatchment so you take the core out of the stem and put em in through there

I can only imagine it would be a more expensive option all around because they are not mainstream enough.

actually we use them all the time in steering tires on semis but we tried them in some other things like 37 inch tires on a f350 and it vibrated like crazy, same with some other tires, only good in semis

I had a site( Ill have to look for it) that gives u tire sizes (bias or radial) and how much plastic or ceramic BBs to put in the tires (static wieght balancing) and it works GREAT. This is Ideal for larger tires(above 35s).

http://www.innovativebalancing.com/BigTirechart.htm

This chart has all the reg offroading brands and how much weight is needed per tire

Hope this helps...it did me
