15" Stock Rims
 I have the 15" stock painted rims on the left. The rims on the right says chorme-clad in the text. Does that mean that the steel rims are chormed or just have the aftermarket wheel skins/covers?

I believe they are chrome but just the face of the rim not the whole rim. what you see from the front is chrome but not the back of it, if you know what i mean.

It is still a steel wheel with the a permanent chrome face attached to it (I think it is actually plastic just like the grilles and stuff). Its not aftermarket because it was a factory option but they are not like hubcaps if that's what your asking they are permanent. It just a fancy version of your wheel and they look cheap IMO I like the ones you have now more.

they're actually ford chrome skin covers... generally the wheels that the chrome cladding comes on are black underneath..

I have these, they are like a thin overlay pinched onto the bead of the wheel. When you pull the center cap of you can tell that it is a black steel wheel.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
I was wondering what my truck would look like with the chrome hub caps, covers or skins whatever they are called. The Ford dealership wanted to sell me some covers when I mentioned the stock wheels. So now I'm sure this is what he was talking about.

Here are sets of wheel covers for various Ranger steel wheels. Aftermarket and stock chromed aluminum mags are out there..bad news...they will look like shit after a few tire changes..chipped chrome. Take a close look at them on any vehicle that has had them for a few years. Scroll down on this page to see the cover sets.

I had the stock chromies like in your pic, and they held up great. Don't go with the cheap aftermarket ones, as the quality is shit. If you want them, get them from Ford or another member.
