250-300 here, but be careful and shop around, if you get some shop to do it cheap they might not be good, if they dont set them up just right you will destroy your dif really fast... i had that problem on my 90 ranger, charged me 150 and 6 months later the rear end was toast

Prob not gears run around 150- up plus you need the install kit major or minor depending on how far you want to get into it.

Its not really that bad if you know what you are doing I learned because I use to work at a offroad shop, if you have the tools the only things you have to worry about is the backlash. Best way to do it is when you pull your old ones out keep the shims together with where they go that way when you go to put then new ones in you have a rough idea on the shims you need. Me i take the old bearing (pinion) drimmil it out so I can use it for checking that way I don't have to press the new one on and risk messing it up. Use a gauge on the old shims match that with new ones put it all together again apply toque set the lash run the paint on it to get a tooth mark 99% of the time its dead on the 1st try. Go over to pirate4x4.com I think there is a right up over there if not I know there is one on TRS. Sorry a bit in a hurry go through Kuwait right now.

I was quoted 1000-1200 dollars before. That included the Yukon gears, Labor, additional parts and fluid.

I found a axle using car-part.com and just swapped it out saving 700 dollars
