Exclamation lug nut help

ok so i have crager steel d-window rims and i bought some cheap-o lug nuts off of ebay for the rims. i torqued all my nuts on and when i went to take them off, the end of the lug nut had crimped onto the wheel stud and it stripped the threads of the wheel stud. seems like the taper of the lug doesnt match my rim. so now i need new studs which is no problem. my question is this, what kind of lug nuts do i need to buy to make it work with the d-window rims
thanks
luc
is this what i need?

are those long enough?? and you dont have a problem with the ends crimping over the stud?

I had the issue w the studs being too long for steel wheels too. But only in the rear. And my issue was that i blew the back of the lug nut out when i tightened them.

MY FIX: cut the tapered 3/8" off the end of the stud. No problems in the past 25,000 miles

but it may also be the cheepo ebay lug nuts too
