Not to say your wrong, but bigger trucks like f-250's are in some ways better to lift.
1. The drive shaft is much longer, so when its lifted its not in a hell of a strain.
2. They have low end gears already
3. They have heavier brake lines, so you don't have to buy new ones.
4. They have a bigger motor that can handle the lift and tires better.
