yep shure would. not flat black though looks ugly real fast. semi or low gloss yes

self etching primer first. i did low gloss 1 can per wheel. if there is any kind of finish other than bare polished meatal ur gunna want to take that off first so the paint will last and do that caliper a high gloss black. and put meatier tires on there too it will still look great. damn should have washed that wheel better b4 i took that pic. the more i look at my wheels the more i wish i diddnt paint those allens. easy fix though. dont paint anything thats going to get tooled.

they r in same as stock location, dont want them near the opening when lowering time comes, although I do agree 2" spacer on rear due to huge bedside bulge..

your wheels look sweet/mean!.... I want a set like that black/beadlock, for a B4000 4x4 project I'm working on, as for meaty-er tires I wanna get some 295/40/18 for the rear, will def b lowered soon, EFI 5.0 or 2.5L turbo, in the near futre (spring time).... I've been in the custom paint/collision, field for 18yrs, paint will adhere to clear just fine (if sanded properly) .. just did my bros alloy tracker wheels in semi gloss black and they look sweet!...

----------

stop eye-balling the fender bulges and take a gander at the mudflaps, perfectly inline.... I dnt want them stuck out throw"n rooster tails.. 2" is to far 1" requires modifing stock lug studs.. I'll just let it be.. 295/40's or 315/35's will cure the rear

it will. but 4 me i feel better painting a bare surface. semi or low gloss always looks better than flat. flat just looks dirty. bead locks look awesome for any truck i need to buy a set of rings. not shure if i want high gloss black or try to color match the body though.

not tryin to argue or be disrespectful, logically its just un required steps, I wld rather scuff n spray n be done, than sand to bare alluminum, etch prime, epoxy prime, sand again, then spray.... A sealed surface is a sealed surface, etch is for bare metal..... I hear you on the "flat" it looks crappy.. my nieghbor has an eclipse n "rattle bombed" his wheels flat black.. not appealing at all...
