Thumbs down New wheels

I am trying to decide between some new wheels for my Ranger. I am looking at black rhino rockwells or some eagle alloys. I was also curious would I need a body lift in order to fit a 17" wheel and tire, or can i do that with stock suspension and no BL? I also would like some recommendations on new tires. I'm looking at a set of cooper discoverers sst's or sticking with a set of wrangler tires? My last vehicle was a nissan frontier pos so I am new to all of the modding.

You wont need a body lift for 17's, maybe a little crank on the torsion bars in case of rubbing on turns. I heard coopers are good, as well as wranglers. I usually go with the one that has the best warranty

I was just going to get 16s, but then I realized if I ever wanted to do a BL 16's would look too small. and 17s would still look decent. or in that case should i just wait for a BL before new rims and tires?

If you do a body lift yeah get new rims and tires, 32's or 33's will be good. Kinda pricey but nice!

I was just looking for a way to kill 2 birds in with stone... buying one set of rims and tires that would look good with, and without a BL

16s would not look too small with a 3" BL, shoot here they are on a double lifted truck on 35s:

(Thanks Trevor for letting me whore your truck)

See 16s look just fine. Not to mention Tires will be cheaper to buy for 16s than they would 17s
