Default Mini Spare Tire

My new Ranger came with a T145/80D16 mini spare tire. Will a standard rim and tire fit under the bed in its place? Stock tires and rims are 15"

Thanks for the info and trade offer. Yea, I'm too far away.
Never had a Ranger with the mini spare. My 2001 had a full size spare.

are you gonna leave the truck stock? because if not it doesnt matter, and even if you do its a spare you really dont need a full size because how often do you use your spare?

The size difference shouldn't be too much trouble since you're 2wd…just make sure the donut goes on the front axle (save your diff the extra wear) One reason for a full-size spare is to do 5-way rotations, you can get quite a bit more life out of a set of tires that way. (as in 48,000 mile tires lasting for 60,000 miles)

I guess I have been lucky up to now as all vehicles I have ever owned had full size spares. The mini spare is just so you can get to a service station to get your tire fixed.

Y'all do raise valid points. I can't even remember when the last time I used a spare.

The truck will stay pretty much stock. I'm putting on a tonneau cover this week. I may change out the stock rims later.

Thanks for your comments everyone!

i just dont see the need in getting rid of a good spare and spending money on buying another, not that im saying you shouldnt buy a full sized, its your truck after all, but you could use that money else where
