Default Tire Sizes!

My truck is stock, and i cant seem to find the same size tires that were put on my truck. They are like 225/70R 14's or something like that, and apparently they are for passenger cars or something cause this is retarded to find, is there anything else i can use?

My 1996 Mazda B3000 4x2 has the 225/70-14 as stock. For winters, I went with 205/75-14 at 38psi (35 is stock)....215/70-14 would also fit. For other three seasons, I went with a set of BFG AT T/A KO in a 27x8.5x14 (also at 38 psi)....might be hard to find now since it appears that this size is now discontinued. IMO, the BFG AT are not good in winter conditions esp ice...got stuck 10 times one winter. Overpriced, but look aggressive IMO.

Stayed with the 14's since I already bought a set of used 14 inch rims. Otherwise, 15 inch rims would be better....much more tire selection.

Yeah, 225/70R14s are few and far between. Firestone makes the Destination At and LE in that size. Toyo makes the Open Country A/T in that size too. Cooper makes the Discoverer ATR in that size but isn't all that great when the tread is half worn down on wet roads. Cooper also makes a winter tire in that size, Discoverer M+S. They are the only one that makes a winter tire still.

If you are inclined, get some junk yard 15" rims for the Ranger and you'll get more options.
