yeah I have no reason not to i guess, I want the bfg's but they will be 100 more and thats dumb to do just because I think the lettering and side of the tire look better. where would you recommend buying tires. I looked at both discounttire and tirerack. tireracks was cheaper but it didnt include a warrenty and discounttire did. my only other option would be to order locally through like big o tires and I can pretty much promise they are going to rape me if I go through them, but I want to pay for unlimited rotations and balancing on the tires, thats the only plus going through local big o.

well because the duratracs haven't been out long really, its hard to get as good of a figure like you can for say bfg AT's, but I personally think if you get 50,000 out of an MT, then thats good especially if your on the road alot like me. the duratrac isn't a true MT nor true AT persay, its kinda in a class of its own, but for lack of better words and to make this easier, its best descriped kinda like the best of both worlds, half AT, half MT. which is why its SUPPOSED to be the next best thing. I can't wait til BFG comes out with a tire to compete and try and beat this tire. I really like BFG especially the look of them but like I stated up there, it would be dumb for me to pay $100 more for a tire just because of the lettering and font style. According to tirerack, (which btw had an awesome ranking system, like 15 different categories all even to the tenth rating, as in like 7.3, 7.4, etc.) I compared the BFG AT, BFG MT, and Duratrac. acourse its hard for the AT to compete against these but its still one of my choices. but with that being said, the duratrac destroyed the AT acourse, but what I was really deciding was between the 2 MT's. I wish the BFG would have won, but according to all the ranking, the duratrac beat it by a good amount. there were a few things the BFG MT did better in, but in my case, the truck is going to stay mostly on road, with maybe a tad bit of offroad, and just snow and ice. like most MT's, the BFG can struggle some on ice (but what tire doesn't) but it does mostly do to the lack of siping like you see all over the AT, and the duratrac. those are what really helps to grip on ice. BUT the BFG is a harder compound than the duratrac which in theory should make it stronger, and less like to rip or be cut open. I don't offroad hardly at all and don't rock crawl so thats not a big deal to me, and because the duratrac has a softer compound, it should have better road characteristics and have a better ride with less road noise. Again with the softer compound tho, the tire is going to wear faster than that of the BFG, so its really give n take when it comes to tires. Decide what you need mixed with alil bit of what you really want and then choose the best choice for you. I honestly don't NEED an MT but I like the look, its my money, and the MT isn't really that more expensive in my opinion especially the BFG AT compared to the duratrac. The duratrac has the middle of the tire setup like an AT, and the 2 outsides set up like an MT, so its best of both worlds and is supposed to dominate the AT category and be able to compete with the MT's. For this discussion I will get the most tire for my money going with the Duratrac, so thats prolly what I will get. but I wish id get the BFG's, but im trying to let my head prevail on this one and not just buy the BFG cause I like the looks of the tire more.

Sorry about the rant, but if I get 50,000 out of the duratrac or BFG MT ill be pleased. and honestly thats like 2 to 2 n a half years of driving. by the time that time passes, you realize how many new and great tires are going to be released and you will be ready to upgrade anyways. but to answer your ques, that mileage out of an MT, spending 90 to 95% of your time on the highway is good.

Look at STLs 32s & tell me those dont look perfect on his truck.

33s might look better. Might.. But it's not like you will hate the 32s. They will still look good.

But it all boils down to what you want. Good luck.

well if your staying stockish height dont get 33's, they totally look out of place. 32x11.5 looks perfect. im going to be about 4 to 5 inches higher than stock so thats why im switching to 33's.

also the good thing about 32's is lets say a year from now when next winter rolls around you want to do a body lift. 32's still look fine with the body lift and you dont have to go out and buy new tires right then or drive around looking retarded like im about to on 235's lol. are you changing to aftermarket rims?
