thats exactly what i was thinking..but the cheapest and best looking a/t i could find was the duratracs but the kumhos were just $8 per tire so was just wondering..but im just hoping i can get close to 40-50k miles on the duratracs

You should be able to, they havent been out to long yet to get some good realistic numbrers that most are seeing out of them, but as much as they are being made out to be, they better last that long. if not they are going to fall to the side in the AT department. especially with nittos and especially bfg. yes the duratracs have a little more aggressive tread for an AT but if bfg are lasting 30 to 40,000 miles more and are still going to get the job done well in the AT department, then they are going to continue to lead. Im choosing between bfg at, or the duratracs. I like the look of the duratracs but they will prolly ride harsher and not last as long as the bfg. plus I just think the white lettering on the bfg looks better. it does get tiring hearing people say you know, "what do you know, another bfg at" but hell if it aint broke, why fix it you know. but hopefully by the time winter rolls around there will be more real world experience and insight from people on the duratracs and maybe that will give them a better chance in my opinion on what ill buy. right now the bfg r my choice, so we will see what happens. just my opinion. thanks, zach.

same i really want the duratracs but i think the bfgs are a better suit just a lil pricey. i dont really need tires until next summer but just wanted to do some research right now to get an idea. i did just read some reviews though of guys getting 40k+ on those kumhos. what size tire are you running?

right now I have the stock size 235's which even with the t bar crank and shackle they are soooo tiny. the previous owner didnt rotate them hardly at all so they are chopped to hell, and ride like hell. they r goodyear wrangler radial. kinda of a at/slightly road tire. but I hate them, they do have very good grip and are a good AT pattern but I just dont like the size and how they ride. not necess the tires fault but w.e. im about to lift b4 winter so acourse new rims and 33x12.5's going on. I wish these tires wouldnt have been bad because they only have like 20/30,000 miles on em but since im lifting it wouldnt matter anways. people are consistently reporting 60 to 80,000 miles on the bfg's so even though they are alil pricey at first, you totally get your money back and more. so unless someone gives me a reason to otherwise, ill be on new 15x8's with 33x12.5 bfg at ko.

yyeah thats a big reason n the other big reason for me was I am going for the offroad look. n i think 15's with 32's or 33's looks perfect size on the ranger. if i was to go up to 35's id want 16's but that prolly will never happen like previously mentioned. so the look i want a long with money is why im staying 15's but ts honestly just more the look I want you know.

Those are nice, probably beats the Hankooks? What would be the maximum size tire I can put on my truck using my stock rims? These are my stock rims:http://www.rswheel.com/servlet/the-3...a-B2300/Detail

I think he was talking about stock, STl is running 32's with a body lift and he likes it better than 33's but i personally am going to run 33x12.5. its not so much the height of the 32 I dont like, its only being 11.5 wide you know. I like the look of a wider tire hench the 12.5 wide.

you could prolly run 245s maybe 265s your stock wheels jordan. but zach i just dunno if the 32 will look tall enough the 11.5" wide is enough for muah
