Why bump man I gave you a answer that they will fit. The 245/75/16 comes out to be a 30.5in tire you can fit 31's stock. Also what you didnt say was what BS you were running 3.75-4? Also there is a chart ( located here- http://www.fordrangerforum.com/wheel...tire-size.html) that say you can run them with maybe just a little trim.

01-08

XLT & XL 2wd

* 15x7 stock suspension - 215x75x15, 235x75x15, 235x60x15, 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15(may need to trim)

* 15x8 stock suspension - 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15(may need to trim)

* 15x7 body lift or suspension lift - 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15, 32x11.5x15, 33x10.5x15(may need to trim), 33x12.5x15(will need trimming)

* 15x8 body lift or suspension lift - 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15, 32x11.5x15, 33x10.5x15(may need to trim), 33x12.5x15(will need trimming)

* 15x7 body lift AND suspension lift - 32x11.5x15, 33x10.5x15, 33x12.5x15(may need to trim)

* 15x8 & 15x10 body lift AND suspension lift - 32x11.5x15, 33x10.5x15, 33x12.5x15(may need to trim)

A 31in tire is a 31in tire, it doesnt matter which rim you use be it 15, 16, 18 etc. The reason for this is beacuse the tire is still the same size around on all of those. Now where you would run into problems is on the BS change if you push the tire out or in more then yes you will have a possiable rubbing, but if you use 3.75-4BS then you will be fine. Look at it this way where it says 15 in rim change it to 16.
EX:
15x7 stock suspension - 215x75x15, 235x75x15, 235x60x15, 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15(may need to trim)
Becomes
16x7 stock suspension - 215x75x16, 235x75x16, 235x60x16, 30x9.5x16, 31x10.5x16(may need to trim)

245-75-16 = 30.5 inches high, 245-75-15 = 29.5 inches high. I'm not sure how those metric measurements work, but the same numbers on a 16in rim are larger than on a 15in rim. http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...nch_Tires.html here's a link to a coversion calculator.

True I was just trying to get across to him that a 31in tire will fit fine with whatever rim he chooses it all depends on the BS on the rim that he is using if he will have clearance issues or not. Odd how that works for the size though thats why I like non metric tires lol
