I am new to this forum, I live in Montreal and snow is coming quick yey ! I started shopping for my tires and rims about a week ago and I am having problems finding something that will fit on my brand new 2010 Ranger Supercab 4x4.
I checked the "chart stickies" but there is no information for 2010 4x4's, and called a couple of rim & tire companies such as Tirepackage.com and others, to ask which combination would work best. I was told that 31" wheels is the max I can go on the 2010 4x4 without adjusting my t-bar, but I am not convinced. I see older model rangers with 32" wheel with no rub which leads me to believe I can go bigger then 31" without rubbing. What is the max I can go ?
What I was thinking, since I need to be legal here in Montreal, I was going to go with the ProComp Radial Mud Terrain
tires since they are studdable, in 30/9.5R/16 with 16" steelies like these
What I am concerned about this, will the backspacing be ok ? I also heard that steelies compared to alloys have more problems clearing sometimes, is this true ? If so could a hub spacer fix this problem ?
Thank you !
