Default new tire options

Hey guys i have a 1997 for ranger that i put 1998 ranger 15 inch rims on

so i need new tires soon and i dont know what i should go with

i do alot of highway but go out to my ranch sometimes and the roads are pretty junky sometimes especially when it rains. ALso i wanted a tire that is good in the rain because i hava 4.0 with a 3:55 rear gears.

So basically i was thinking about the BFG long trail touring because out the door it is around 500 dollars

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...=TNWINT&cs=235

Or should i spend a little more on some affordable all terrains

Id look into the Firestone Destination A/T or Bridgestone dueler A/T if you want a more agressive tire, both are great in rain..

Have you found any decent reviews on the medalist tires?

yes some not many and they say that they do ok off road and are pretty responsive for an all terrain on the highway. Also that they wear even and last about 50k, but at around half tread they start to hydroplane.

the reviews are spread all over the internet thats why i came to a reliable source that i trust. why not ask the people who might have these tires on a vehicle just like mine
