The wheels and tires we're balanced when they were installed, and the factory wheels are indeed hub centric, So I don't know if what your telling me is correct.

just because they were balanced when you got the tires doesnt mean anything. ive had to have tires re-balanced several times after they were mounted. discount tire had to re-balance my tires about 5 times before they got it right the last time i purchased wheels/ tires from them. all im saying is that before you start throwing money at something that you have no clue whether it will fix the problem or not why dont you just bring it back to the tire shop and ask them to re balance the tires. they will probably do it for free.

It's a good point, my only problem is that I don't really trust my mechanic because the first thing he did wrong was let me drive away from his shop with my wheels loose. And doesn't see to be much help with my aftermarket wheels.
Also, I didn't buy new tires, I bought new wheels. And the wheels are not hub centric which is notorious for causing vibrations (which I've learned after I invested in these things)
American Racing isn't helpful and none of the local shops in my area listed on their website wants to help with these hub centric rings.
I'm pretty much lost at this point...

Sorry man, but that's not the case. My stock wheels are absolutely hub centric. I've seen it with my own eyes.

seen what exactly?

on the note of aftermarket rims, as long as the lug holes are a conical seat, you wont need a hub centric ring, the tapered lug nuts will center it in place

I've been told by Ford that its hub centric. and I've seen the center hole of the stock wheel fits and rests right on the hub bore without bolting it down.
