Default 285's

so i know that most 285/75/16 tires will fit on my stock 03 fx4 with its t-bars maxed however will i run into rubbing when flexing off roading cuz i dont wanna rip a bumper off :/

Friend of mine he could rub his wheels. However that was only extreme flexing.

Body lift will help alot my 33's still rub on the metal bed side and its ripped up afew tires and I don't have mated t bars

Just put the tires on now and install the body lift later.

I have essentially the same setup and it's easy to get the hang of what will cause a rub, and how to avoid it. The few times I do rub I know I'm going to rub before it even happens. Now, if you're crawling rocks or do crazy flexing like that, then yeah you'll likely run into issues.

I barely rub at full lock and have yet to rub while flexing.

hmm yea i dont wheel it too much but when i do ive had at full flex before but i dont think ill run into that problem and if im crawling over somethin and takin it slow i dont think there should be a prob

Yeah one of the SoCal guys had 31" inch tires with a 3" spindle lift & AAL and he would complain about rubbing. On the other hand, there were a few SoCal guys that had 32s & no lift or 33s & a 3" spindle lift and didn't seem to have an issue with rubbing. So basically I think it boils down to A) What kind of offroading you plan to do (eg: amount of flexing) B) Driving style
