Quality Lug Nuts
Does anyone know a good place to get good quality chrome lug nuts? I just got a set of Mickey Thompson Classic II's and I dont want to put them on with the shitty lug nuts that I got with my pro comp wheels. I dont want ones that are going to have surface rust in 3 months like my old ones

Re: Quality Lug Nuts
All chrome will rust. The only way to keep them looking good is to keep them clean all the time.

Re: Quality Lug Nuts
I have mcgard (sp?) Triple chrome lugs on mine. They have been on for seven years and they still look brand new. Just don't use power tools on them. As long as the steel under the chome isn't exposed they won't rust.

well, I'll give a little backstory of the wheels. we went to the 4 wheel jamboree in bloomsburg (I got like 72 pics I should post) and I was looking at a set of eagle alloy chrome wheels, they were essentially the same thing as the mickey thompson (15x10) and they were $395.00 with center caps and lugs. so I went over to the mickey thompson stand and the 15x10 classic II's were $383.00 with just the center caps, so I figured I'd get the better quality wheel without lugs. and I just figured I'd buy a good quality lug to go with the wheel.
but thanks for the replies. Ive heard of those mcgard lugs before. There's a higher quality auto parts store in my area that should have them if not something equal. Im willing to spend a little more to get a better lug

Re: Quality Lug Nuts
Auto parts store lug nuts suck and rust in no time. OEM seems to be the only good ones from my experience.

Re: Quality Lug Nuts
a full set of OEM ones for 50$ if you want them. I think shipping would be 5$ in the USA.
