Should I get the bf goodrich all terrain tires? And any advice on painting rims black
Right now my truck is all stock... I just bought it and am looking to putting money into it. So I was wondering if I should get the bfg all terrain tires and what size I should get? I am gonna raise the torsion bars in the front about 2 inches so it's level with thr back...
And I also want to paint my rims black, doesn't anyone have any good advice on that?
Thanks a lot!

If you're planning on lifting, I'd get something meatier than a bfg all terrain. Nitto Terra grapplers are always classy. Bfgs are just so played out.

Well I'm not lifting it I'm just Adjusting the torsion bars so the front is level to the back... And I've herd differently about the ATs, my buddy has them and has had them for a few years and they look great still! How much are the Nitto Terras?

BFG A/Ts are a great tire, thus why they are so popular and "played out." So I vote yes for the BFGs.
Regarding tire size, I say 32x11.50 with your torsion bar crank. It's the exact setup I have and looks pretty good.

Yah your truck looks sick! Did you take out a leaf spring in the back? it looks a little lower in the back... or maybe i'm just used to my truck looking freakin lifted in the back hahaa

Nah my truck is just sitting on a slight incline thus giving the illusion of it being lower in the back.
To get a better idea of how my truck looks you can find more pictures of it here: http://www.fordrangerforum.com/vehic...my-ranger.html

Re: Should I get the bf goodrich all terrain tires? And any advice on painting rims b
You can if you want your rims to blend in. If you are looking to make them stand out, then no.
You would need to sand them with a fine grit emery cloth or green scotch brite (the colors of the scotch brite stand for different coarseness - white the finest to burgundy being the coarsest) to get the paint to stick and clean them up really well. Brake cleaner work well for the final prep and leaves no residue.

Those pictures are awesome! Where do you live in Orange County? Are any of those snow pics from Big Bear? I live in Huntington Beach!
I pretty much want my truck to look like yours haha
And thank you sandman for the tips! They will be useful
