My leveled out 2010 2.3 reggy cab ranger vibrates at 62mph but smooths out at 80 mph no more vibration when i bump jams and stomp on the right pedal.

It has 30s general grabber at tires. I think one or 2 tires is out of round. Last tire shop in mexico could not balance one tire for krapp and they rotated it 180 degrees. 2 tires have lots of weights kind of embarrasing. Also my lazy *******sss did not rotate them for the first 22 thousand miles and the front ones got cupped. Is that cuse i didnt rotatem and took many hard hard fast turns? Im an aggressive driver when i WILL GET SOMEWHERE IN TIME. Ill tell ya these general grabbers at tires last and last even peeling out on corners. They have still some tread left after 37 thousand miles. I HATE TO REPLACE TIRES WHEN THEY STILL HAVE PLENTY MEAT LEFT BUT IM GETTING TIRED OF VIBRATIONS.

Im about to throw the towell and get some new LT235/75/15 TOYO OPEN COUNTRY AT2 AND ROTATEM MYSELF EVERY 5K MILES. I need to restore a little more power since ill be towing a utility trailer hauling my 2018 yfz450r SE.

ANYONE HAVE TOYO OPEN COUNTRY AT2 TIRES? HOW YOU LIKE THEM. IM HOPING going from 30s to 235 restores some power and dont make my leveled out ranger look goofy.

Comments appreciated....

----------

And my 2wd ranger has new front rotors new brake pads and new bearings and new greased slider pins and im sure thats not it.

Anyone from san diego area that off roads in pine valley off of the I-8 in a quad or dirt bike?

Pretty desperate to go to mexico for a tire balance. Tires are out of round when new, they don't become out of round.
The wheels could be the issue, I have seen that before.

Update update

Jacked up front of my ranger with my trusty 3 ton jack from cosco...

And if i push on both wheels rapidly back and forth at 12 o clok it goes clak clak clak clak clak.

So new upper bjs are in order and one lower bj has a torn boot. So im hoping half of the vibrations are cuse of that.

I go to mexico often man. I only go on the ranger cuse it can take the abuse of the roads. My car dont go to mexico unless my ranger is waiting on parts. Those 5100 shocks are amazing on krappy roads. And thoze krappy roadz caught up to to upper ball joints and both lower bjs. 1 lower bj was replaced 2 years ago. Im amazed the OEM upper BJS lasted 248 thousand miles and not fallen apart. OEM UPPERS FOR THE WIN. I WANNA SEE SOME MOOG UPPERS LAST 245K MILES !!!

And the yellow rear bilsteins are good to.

You should ALWAYS replace suspension components in pairs. MOOG does pretty good on its own and there is always the exception to the rule right?

And if I must commit blasphemy, you get to know any of the engineers or even the techs at Bilstien, even they say/admit that "when it comes to the the Ranger, they do okay".

What Bilstien offers is a lower cost alternative but descriptively a better shock/strut than whats commercially available in a Gabriel/KYB/Rancho/ or other big box store brands in the application of Ford Rangers. But for the cost factors, you could have spent a bit more and got yourself into shocks that are at least tune-able, rebuild-able, and overall offer even more control with Fox/ICON/Radflo/ again, among others even in entry level considered shocks.

I find it interesting that Toyota's TRD Pros and some Nissans (PRO4X level) come with Bilstiens and every one tosses them to the side for better options and Ranger guys clamor to them like they're the best thing since front pockets in Levi's.. even used with 30k miles on them. Does that mean Bilstiens are junk or dont have a higher end even? Of course not.. JUST not in a Ranger specific application.
