My 35" tires took a lot of weight to balance, but they balanced, and that's all I cared about. Rides smooth, no problem.

No, the thing shakes like crazy at around 65-75. I've been chasing it down for a while now and just assumed that, since the tires were brand new, that it couldn't be the wheels.
I was kind of wondering/looking for validation, that maybe the rim is bent and the tech was trying to counterbalance the bent rim.

Okay, what I think I'll do is just take it back to the shop and have them look it over. Maybe while I'm there I'll talk to the tech and see if there is a specific reason there is so much weight (i.e. bent rim) and go from there.
I've been chasing a rear end vibration for a while now and I just want to be able to rule out the wheels. These tires are only about a month old and were balanced and aligned at time of installation which didn't fix the vibration as I'd hoped, but it did move it's effective MPH range from around 55-65 before the new tires, to around 65-75 with these new ones.
