Post Need wheel help

Good Morning. First off, I have looked at the charts for the offset and the rest, and keep getting more confused. I have a 1988 Ranger 2wd and want to get these wheels American Racing VN1054665 - American Racing VN105D Torq-Thrust D Gray Wheels

The people at Summit performance say I need a wheel w/3.50 backspace. These wheels are 3.375. what can I do??? Thanks. Mo.
